Take the Stage for Friday Night LIVE at the Emporium!

The Emporium is a venue where all are welcome. With a diverse audience, the stage welcomes artists & performers representing many genres and performance styles. Please review the HELPFUL HINTS below regarding performing for Friday Night Wine Tasting & LIVE Music.

PERFORMANCE HOURS

  • The Friday Night Wine Tasting starts at 6:30pm. 

  • The music (band's set) begins promptly at 7pm and ends at 10pm. 

  • The band can take breaks as they see fit within their set.

  • In the event the band wants to do an encore performance or song, it must be figured into the overall performance timing. Recommendations include planning on ending the set at 9:50pm with an encore performance to conclude at 10:00pm. Emporium management reserves the right to end all performance at expected time. All special arrangements must be made prior to booking confirmation.

EQUIPMENT
Our sound and staging just went through an incredible upgrade, making options and opportunities easier for bands/performers to participate. The Emporium is able to provide sound equipment for the band to utilize, to the extent of:
 

  • Sound Board with multi-channel options

  • Microphones (confirm number upon booking)

  • 2 monitors

  • Mic Stand(s)

  • Snake

  • If band uses house equipment, they are responsible for the set up and the tear down, and this time should be included in their arrival. Tear down should be no more than 30 minutes after performance.

The band/artist is able to express interest in utilizing the Emporium equipment with the understanding that a sound man is not provided.

LOADING IN

  • Bands are permitted to arrive no earlier than 5pm EST on the day of performance.

  • The Emporium, upon booking confirmation, will make staging area accessible to band for loading in.

  • All instruments should be positioned within the LIVE Music area, and instrument bags/containers stored off of the floor, and in stock room behind stage. (See on-site Emporium Manager for details)

  • All other needs should be communicated during confirmation

 

$5 COVER

  • To support the band, the Emporium features a $5 cover charge. The cover goes directly to the band/performer. 

  • Bands are not permitted to waive the cover charge, BUT are given the option to donate the cover charge to a non-profit or organization of their choice. 

  • Emporium Management will keep track of all attendees and cover charges via their POS system. At the end of the evening, MGT will present the money to the band designee.

PROMOTION
The Emporium strives to present the artist and FRIDAY NIGHT LIVE as best as possible to an interested audience, and advertises to the online, and website market. It is encouraged that the talent share the event with their circles to increase awareness and attendees. The more people that attend and pay the cover charge, the more money the band takes home.

  • Provide a band/artist photo for marketing and promotional purposes

  • Include any links that are relevant to the band/artist.

  • If there are any new releases, please mention them during the booking process below. 

  • The Emporium will create a Facebook invitation for the event. Ensure that the artists/bands FB page is provided for co-host status. 

  • Inquire about additional promotional opportunities during booking process. 

  • Follow the Emporium on Instagram & Facebook to stay updated with band mentions and event conversation.

  • How long are art shows displayed?
    Each Art Show is schedule for a two month duration, unless otherwise agreed upon by the Art Director.
  • How far in advance are art shows scheduled?
    Art shows can be scheduled as far as 1 year in advance. The scheduling calendar is at the discretion of the Art Director, and based on various elements such as season, number of similar artists, and other evaluaative metrics.
  • How are the art pieces purchased?
    Each artist prices their artwork individually. Interested buyers will reach out to the Artist directly through the information provided the Emporium from Artist. The Emporium is not involved or responsible for the sale of any artwork, or the coordination of art delivery made through any sales by artist. Each artist may have a separate sales method in place, so sales will differ based on artist.
  • How many pieces are required to present during a show at the Emporium?
    The number of pieces varies per artist and per art piece. However, the intention is to have the artist fill the gallery space with artwork. It is recommended for the artist to visit the Emporium to understand the layout, spacing, culture, and options available. For more detailed questions, please contact the Art Director..
  • What is an artist reception?
    The Emporium takes every opportunity to ensure that the artist receives maximum exposure. To help present the artist and their work to the community, an artist reception is scheduled to celebrate the Gallery opening. The artist has the ability to decline the reception if they so choose. HELPFUL TIPS The Emporium provides a limited supply of wine The Artist is able to bring refreshments if they like The Artist Reception is generally scheduled on a Sunday, unless otherwise negotiated with the Art Director. The Artist reception is open to the public with the Artist's work available for purchase.
